This Is Not How It Was Supposed to Go

Audio Drama

You can audition for more than one character.

JUNIOR

Classic country boy. Would give you the shirt off his back. Friendly to all women, and has a thing for women in their 50s.

DINKO

The strong, silent type. Cool demeanor until he's on stage as his cousin's hype man.

BOND

A 20-something local rapper who is just getting popular. Cheerful and easygoing, loves to laugh.

KAIA

Early 30s, married mom of two. Was the pretty goody-two-shoes growing up. Kind, a bit motherly, and always does the right thing.

SHARMEL

Carefree and giggly. Bond's girlfriend, who loves him and his music.

NIKKI

A street runner chick. Bitter and don't give a f. Dinko's ex who tries to pretend she doesn't still care about him.

MRS. STAVE

Junior's mother. Nosey and thinks she's better than everybody. 

MADAM MAYOR WALLACE

A good leader. Very practical, respects others.

KAI

A smooth pretty boy. Usually responsible. Kaia's big brother.

SELENA

Racially ambiguous and 'think she cute.' She is used to getting attention from men but still thirsty af.

ROY

 Young White man. Eager and anxious.

RICHARDSON

Roshawn's boyfriend [in the past]. Not into her but dragging out the relationship. No real personality.

DANIEL

Kaia's abusive boyfriend. Know-it-all. His mission is to destroy Kaia's self-esteem.

COURTNEY, THE YOUNG PROFESSOR

Intelligent bookworm who wants to be cool with the students. Fighting his attraction to Roshawn until the night he gives in.

THOMAS

Marshawn's sham husband. A gay hitman who puts on a boring and serious demeanor to hide the fact that he is a killer.
